The core disinfecting ingredients inside the agent are still stable and effective, and can still be used normally. For many high-quality sustained-release agents, even if the smell becomes lighter, the rodent killing performance will not drop significantly. On the contrary, if the odor becomes lighter and is accompanied by clumping, moldy, discolored, soft texture, etc., it means that the agent has deteriorated due to moisture and has basically lost its efficacy and needs to be replaced in time. After the smell fades, the food-attracting effect can be restored through simple treatment. For chemicals that have been stored for a period of time and whose odor has weakened but has not deteriorated, they can be replaced with a new special bait box and placed in a sealed container to reduce air contact, or a small amount of new bait can be added for use in conjunction with it to increase its attractiveness. Daily placement follows the principle of small amounts and frequent changes, and regular replacement of point agents can not only ensure adequate odor and stable mouse luring effects, but also avoid waste caused by long-term placement of agents.
